Troubleshooting credit card and debit card payment errors
- If your card is new, make sure it has been activated.
- Double check the card type (for example, VISA), the account number and expiration date.
- Remove dashes or spaces from the account number.
- If everything seems to be correct, call the card issuer’s customer service 800 number on the back of your card.
When will your account be charged?
When you place an order, izon’s payment processing system will contact your credit or debit card’s issuing bank to confirm it is a valid account. The payment processing system requests an authorization, which holds the funds for the full or partial purchase amount. As your items are being prepared to be shipped, authorized funds will be unavailable and may display as “pending” on your credit or debit card’s online statement. Your card will be charged after the item has been shipped.
